As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Epsom RDA has a Board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring that it continues to thrive and move forwardThe Trustees are supported by the Finance, Performance and Governance Committee who report to the Board on the performance of Epsom RDA, including compliance and tracking our strategic objectives as well as finance.

 

Liz Clark

Coming from an NHS background Liz has a passion for strengthening both physical and mental health though riding and horse/pony care.  Liz has been volunteering with the Tuesday morning session since 2018. Gaining her RDA coaching qualifications in 2022 she now leads the Tuesday sessions.  Liz is responsible for volunteering.

Rebecca Courtman

Rebecca has worked with children and young adults with disabilities for the last 15 years and is currently working in a SEN school. Previously Rebecca managed three youth schemes for a charity where she received advanced training in safeguarding specialised to special needs.  

Laura Hales

Laura works for the Department for Transport, delivering programmes that enable more people to cycle and walk for every day journeys. Prior to that she worked in local government and the charity sector. Laura is Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Jo is the School Business Leader at a large local primary school and experienced in governance, financial monitoring, human resources, facilities management and strategic planning. She is passionate about making a difference both in her professional career and through volunteering and has volunteered at Epsom RDA for over 25 years. Jo leads on Horse and Pony management.

Laura McArthur

Laura’s professional background is rooted in HR and the Civil Service. This has included contributing to working groups involved in reviewing Company Law. From this experience Laura has strong awareness of the need for effective governance for charities.

Angela Wilson

Angela is a qualified management accountant with experience in retail and more recently as a deputy director of finance in the civil service. A volunteer at ERDA since 2012, Angela enjoys the challenge of modernising systems and improving reporting to aid decision making both in Government and at ERDA.
