Taffy is a 17 year old, 14hh piebald cob gelding who was bought in 2019 through the kind donation from the Facey Family Christmas Lights appeal.

Like Marigold, he is very fond of bananas, but unlike Marigold, who wouldn’t do anything so ungraceful, Taffy can sometimes be seen sitting like a dog in the field, surveying the grass in front of him.

With his fantastic, active walk and trot, his willing attitude to work and distinctive markings that make him look like he is wearing eyeliner, Taffy has rapidly become a favourite on the yard. He enjoys our noisy games and the different things he is asked to do – and he loves hacking out. We are hoping to compete Taffy in RDA dressage competitions in the future as he is showing a real talent in the school, taking great care of his riders at all levels.
