Guinness
Hercules, or his stable name, Guinness, packs a lot of personality in a small, stocky body! He came to ERDA in early 2019 on loan from one of our volunteers and is a very handsome 13.2hh black cob gelding.
From his antics you wouldn’t think that he was born in 2000. He lives out with the big boys, but make no mistake, he is definitely the boss! If a bigger horse is enjoying a tasty bit of grass he won’t hesitate to drive them away so he can munch it himself.
He has very smooth gaits to ride and he very much enjoys games, particularly if they involve stopping! Guinness looks lovely when trotting, with his short little legs going nineteen to the dozen and his feathers flying.
