Broken Ground

As they say it’s been a bit of a journey, but at long last we have broken ground on the building of a new car park.  The work started in the second week of July and is expected to be completed by mid-August.

This is an essential project that will create a safer environment separating the flow of vehicles entering and exiting the site from the movement of people and ponies around the site. In addition to the important safety aspect the new car park will give us the additional weatherproof parking capacity we need for our fundraising events such as Tack Sales.

We are grateful to the Peter Harrison Foundation for the grant that will cover the construction costs. The Peter Harrison Foundation is an independent grant making trust dedicated to improving opportunities for disabled people.
