Lottie
(Stable name: Lottie)

Lottie came to us this year not long after the arrival of Silver, she
came from a well loved private home. Lottie is a Bay coloured pony. She
has a sweet nature and is patient with the riders and with the side walkers.
Lottie is adored by many riders and gives confidence to those learning
to ride independantly.
In the very short time we have had her at RDA, she has now become our
hypotheraphy horse and has opened doors to those who never even dreamed
about been on a horse!

Ashstead Silver
(Stable name: Silver)

Silver arrived in Feb 2008. We have purchased silver to be know as Ashtead
Silver with money donated from the fundraising team at Ashtead Hospital.
Silver is coloured grey and adores rolling in mud. He also enjoys a thorough
groom and attention.
The more abled disabled riders find him lots of fun to ride because he has
lots of energy.

Strathmore Moss
(Stable name: Moss)

Moss settled in very well and already adored by all helpers and riders!
Moss is brilliant with a disabled rider on top, very calm and steady.
He has done lots of showing with his last family. He currently shares
two open fields with Badger, the two of them are becoming good friends.
Moss and Ozzy recently competed in the Surrey Pony Club Trec and were
placed 3rd out of 8 paired riders. We
are very proud of them both! Moss since being at RDA has competed in the
S.E. Regional Dressage Championships at Hickstead in 2007 & was placed
2nd.

Oliver
(Stable name: Ozzy)
14.2hh, Born 1997
Ozzy came to us in March 2005. He was owned by the same family from age
3 and was ridden by novices and children. He
has settled down well in his new home with us and had learned his job
well. He is very calm with his riders.
Ozzy has competed in two BHS Trecs since he's been at ERDA and enjoys
them thoroughly! He and Moss were placed 3rd out of 8 pairs at the Surrey
Pony Club! Ozzy has also competed in the S.E. Regional Dressage Championships
at Hickstead in 2007 & was placed 1st, he and his rider recieved the
highest percentage of the day and recieved award. See

Buffy

Buffy is a grey mare. She is like a ballerina out of all our ponies.
She is a favourite with most of our young riders!
Buffy is coloured grey (white in horse language) and adores being groomed.
She has a lovely nature and is good with a wide range of riders.
Buffy was Donated by The Croydon & District Province of the R.O.A.B.

Myrtle

Myrtle is a Skewbald mare.
(Skewbald is Brown and Grey markings)
She is very sweet tempered
and gentle natured!
Myrtle competed in the South East Regional Dressage Competition and came
Second at Hickstead in 2005!See

Lady
Marigold of Monteith
(stable name: Marigold)
13.2 hh, Born in 1996.
Marigold is a Highland pony and has lots of mane and tail.
Marigold competes in Dressage competitions with our young riders. She
has very done well at competing at the RDA South East Regional Dressage
at Hickstead and Hartpury as she came First place in 2005 and 2006! We
are extremely proud of her achievements in such a short time.
Marigold is RDA's National Champion of 2006! See

Charlie
11.3hh, Born in 1995
Charlie is a friendly with all his riders and helpers. Can be a little
cheeky at times but everyone adores him!
Charlie is great at dressage and has competed in the South East Regional
Dressage Competition at Hickstead in 2006, he had come 1st place with
his rider for his first competition with EpsomRDA. We are proud of him
and his rider! He also enjoys gymkhana games.
Charlie Bought for Epsom RDA with funds raised from the Balance Feed Trec
organised by Jenny and Andrew Snowdon September 2005 See

Thor

Thor is dappled grey and looks like a thundercloud, which is just as well
as his name means ‘God of Thunder’. He lives up to his name.
Thor is very gentle with all his riders and is patient with riders that
requires side walkers, he is an asset to Epsom RDA. See

Tosca

Tosca is our biggest horse.
She is a piebald mare. (Piebald
is Black and White Markings)She
joined us in October 1999. She is a patient horse who used to be very
afraid of metal gates, but now has accepted that they are not going to
attack her. She is a gentle horse and has a gentle trot that our riders

Badger
15.2hh, Born in 1993
Badger is piebald.
(Piebald is Black and White Markings)
Badger is a lovely natured horse, who came to us having competed in Dressage
with his old owner. He has settled well in to the life of an Epsom RDA
horse but loves to show off his perfect square halts.
Badger will be competing in 2008 SE Regional Dressage Championships at
Hickstead this year on behalf of EpsomRDA. We hope they do well.
Badger came to EpsomRDA with the money raised by the Surrey CIA

Gitano
15.1hh,
Born in 1996.
Gitano is another one of Epsom RDA bigger horses. His name means a male
gypsy in Spanish and he does have a gypsy look about him. He is very sweet
natured and always knows when its lunch time! He is a willing learner
and loves nothing more than a good canter.
He is a true Epsom RDA horse as he looks after his riders and is happy
to slow down and give them a flowing walk.
Gitano also enjoys pony club games and is very good at them even though
he is 15.1hh.
